> 3 dayI love everything about these monitors--the packaging, the quality, the brightness, the weight, the easy installation, the controls on the side--a no-brainer! We did extensive research before purchasing these and it paid off--no annoying high-pitch sound, and all as advertised.

> 3 dayI received my Cocopar monitor and immediately plugged in to my iPad Pro to try it out. Made a few adjustments, such as, brightness, color and set HDR to auto and it worked great with the USB-C cable provided. The iPad provided the necessary power to power both the iPad and monitor. Make sure you are using the magic keyboard with a secondary charging port or a USB-C hub for prolonged use as the monitor will drain the iPad fairly quickly. Evening using Shiftscreen software to use this monitor as an extended monitor for my iPad Pro worked good. The response time was good and the monitor worked great throwing some ultra 4k HDR video to the screen, but I was using the HDMI cable and powering the monitor separately and not through the iPad.. I didnt notice any dropped frames. Plugging this into my MacBook Pro worked great with no complaints for a portable second monitor and was pretty much plug and play as an extended monitor. Even on my work laptop, a windows machine, with a little click here and there in the settings it was up and running quickly. The monitor is a solid metal build and the bottom flips out instead of a screen cover providing the stand and there is a rubberized strip on the monitor to keep it from slipping. Multiple viewing angles are possible and had no fear of it falling over or slipping out of place. It is light and easy to put in my laptop sleeve to carry with me. There is no screen protection so you have to be a little careful when putting in the same bag as your laptop, but included in the box was a protective case which is padded and includes a zippered pocket for cables and other accessories. I would use the case, although it does add some extra bulk to the portability. Some have mentioned they are unable to get High Dynamic Range (HDR) output, but it will not output HDR unless there is HDR content to show. I know that when looking, for example, at the setting on an iPad Pro, it only shows SDR output, but it will automatically chanage then viewing HDR content. This is a good portable monitor. Dont expect this to compete with $1500 or $5000 monitors, it wont. However, for the times you need to bring along a second screen to be more productive this is a good one to purchase. Its well built, has a base to support multiple viewing angles and multiple ports.

Greater than one weekI wanted more options beyond working from home but didn’t want to leave the convenience of my desk set up. However, this monitor changed everything. I’m now able to work as efficiently as I am on my desk from coffee shops, my patio, etc. The monitor is easy to set up and quality is really clear - almost as good as my laptop’s.

Greater than one weekI really like this monitor! Its a great match for my 16-inch Macbook Pro, and its affordable, too. The screen looks good with 1920 x 1080 resolution and the text is easy to read. The monitor feels solid and well-made, which is nice. Its a good size for using at a dining table or on the couch, and its great if you need a second screen for work. It was easy to set up and use. Overall, I think its a really good buy!

Greater than one weekI rarely write reviews here, but this thing is an all-time. I have a stack of mobile monitors that require a whole lot of cables and space. Buh-bye. This device is large and flat, with a clever cover/stand, an easy usb-c-to-c connection to your laptop for power and video, incredible little instruction manual, solicitous helpline, great all around. I bought mine for less than $100, which included all these things and a gift. It is quite mobile but I just ordered a second one for easier commutes. Even includes good cable connectors that might cost $40-odd to buy separately. Winner.

Greater than one weekI bought this to use for work so I didn’t have to haul a monitor and cords around. The case is perfect and the monitor fits perfectly in my computer bag. Very happy with my purchase!

Greater than one weekMy daughter had a Cocopar traveling monitor so I had to buy my own. I purchased the upgraded model and I couldn’t be happier with the resolution quality, screen brightness and the ease of set-up. The stand feels stable and the protective sleeve provides protection during transport. One word of caution is always use a quality rated USB-c cable. I tried a cable I already owned, but the cord wouldn’t transfer the data and power so the monitor wouldn’t work. Once I switched to the cocopar provided cable. It worked great again. I would highly recommend the Cocopar Travel Monitor for streaming or general use.

08-06-2025If youre like me and still have a VGA backup monitor in your closet for just in case, this monitor is the upgrade backup youre looking for. Ive tested it with my Nintendo Switch, and can run both off of my power bank. You have to detach the joycons or use a pro controller, because the joycons will keep toggling the charge if theyre attached. I tested it by going straight USB-C from the 2080 in my desktop - it worked immediately as a second monitor and took power straight from the GPU, no extra cords required. My final test was on my laptop - I plugged it into the USB-C port and it immediately gave me a mirrored desktop. Toggle the windows display settings to Extend, and youve got a fully functional second monitor. Theres a two year warranty on this thing, so I feel pretty comfortable tossing out the old VGA backup monitor (and all of the related cables from that era) and moving forward with this as a backup.
