I received my Cocopar monitor and immediately plugged in to my iPad Pro to try it out. Made a few adjustments, such as, brightness, color and set HDR to auto and it worked great with the USB-C cable provided. The iPad provided the necessary power to power both the iPad and monitor. Make sure you are using the magic keyboard with a secondary charging port or a USB-C hub for prolonged use as the monitor will drain the iPad fairly quickly. Evening using Shiftscreen software to use this monitor as an extended monitor for my iPad Pro worked good. The response time was good and the monitor worked great throwing some ultra 4k HDR video to the screen, but I was using the HDMI cable and powering the monitor separately and not through the iPad.. I didnt notice any dropped frames. Plugging this into my MacBook Pro worked great with no complaints for a portable second monitor and was pretty much plug and play as an extended monitor. Even on my work laptop, a windows machine, with a little click here and there in the settings it was up and running quickly. The monitor is a solid metal build and the bottom flips out instead of a screen cover providing the stand and there is a rubberized strip on the monitor to keep it from slipping. Multiple viewing angles are possible and had no fear of it falling over or slipping out of place. It is light and easy to put in my laptop sleeve to carry with me. There is no screen protection so you have to be a little careful when putting in the same bag as your laptop, but included in the box was a protective case which is padded and includes a zippered pocket for cables and other accessories. I would use the case, although it does add some extra bulk to the portability. Some have mentioned they are unable to get High Dynamic Range (HDR) output, but it will not output HDR unless there is HDR content to show. I know that when looking, for example, at the setting on an iPad Pro, it only shows SDR output, but it will automatically chanage then viewing HDR content. This is a good portable monitor. Dont expect this to compete with $1500 or $5000 monitors, it wont. However, for the times you need to bring along a second screen to be more productive this is a good one to purchase. Its well built, has a base to support multiple viewing angles and multiple ports.

The monitor was even thinner than I expected and works very great. I like how the kickstand is built. The screen and sound and perfect. The customer service is great and I got a two year warranty after emailing them.

After a couple of days using this portable monitor I am very satisfied. The contrast and color quality of the screen is outstanding. It is very light, so it is very convenient for traveling and working during a business trip. I liked very much all the options for connection to the PC or laptop. You have an HDMI option for video, power supply through wall power, or directly from the laptop through USB type A, and connected to the USB type C to the monitor (this is how I am using it and it works perfectly), or power and video simultaneously through USB type C. All wires are provided, which is great. I truly liked the cover protector, very convenient for transportation. I highly recommend this product.

I really like this monitor! Its a great match for my 16-inch Macbook Pro, and its affordable, too. The screen looks good with 1920 x 1080 resolution and the text is easy to read. The monitor feels solid and well-made, which is nice. Its a good size for using at a dining table or on the couch, and its great if you need a second screen for work. It was easy to set up and use. Overall, I think its a really good buy!

This review is based on my first impression, written within the first 30 minutes after connecting the monitor to my laptop. I will update my review if the monitor develops issues in the future. This is an amazing travel monitor. The display is large and everything on the display is very easy to read. The monitor can be powered by the included AC adapter’s USB-A to USB-C cable, or by plugging the USB-A to USB-C cable between the laptop and monitor, or by plugging the USB-C to USB-C cable between the laptop and monitor. My monitor is currently powered by the USB-C to USB-C cable between the laptop and monitor, and in this configuration the AC adapter is not required. I recommend purchasing a Mini HDMI Male to Standard HDMI Female adapter, just in case you decide to use it on another computer that does not have a Standard HDMI Female connector. Just be prepared. As you can see, you have options. Please note that I do not have a MAC or Desktop PC, I ONLY have a laptop. I connect my monitor into an HP EliteBook 845 G8 Notebook PC (i.e., a laptop). The monitor is larger than my laptop’s screen, and that is perfectly fine. I like the fact that a magnetic leather is included with the monitor. I wish the package included a screen protector, but that’s not a deal breaker and not a reason to take away any stars from my rating. I have not tested the speakers. I’m not a gamer so I am unable to give a review that relates to gaming. The screen is a matte finish, not shiny, and I like that. The colors displayed on the screen are magnificent. That’s my review for now, perhaps I’ll append to this review in the future. As for now, I HIGHLY recommend this product. 5-STARS!!!

Ive been using this portable monitor for 3 weeks and its great for productivity with my macbook pro. it is plug and play which makes it incredibly easy to use. It is lightweight, 15 is the perfect size, it fits in the same bag with the laptop. the Image quality is good enough to work or play. Ive spent some time playing with my nintendo switch and playstation 3/4/5 in this monitor and thats the best part of having it.

My kids enjoying using this as a monitor to play with their Switch. I was planning on using it for work for my Slack screen. Great value

Bought this for the purpose of programming alongside lectures. So for my purposes it works perfectly. Was very easy to set up just plug it in automatically starts working. Hooked it up to my Macbook Air 2020. Had to adjust the screen resolution. Came with usb-c cords, hdmi cords, adaptor and charging cords. The ports are on the right of the screen so keep that in mind depending on where you plan to position the screen. The monitor is ultra-lightweight. Loved that there is no brand name on the monitor. The design is sleek and modern. I will say the case is finicky and will slide off as it is not attached to the monitor. It is magnetic so be careful about that. Its only been less than a day but so far Im very satisfied with my purchase.

Recently used this monitor on a trip when I needed to get some work done. I love that it is so portable but quality like my monitor at home. I’ve got a Mac mini, so it means that I can use my actual computer when traveling instead of logging in remotely. It came with all the cords I need to hook it up anywhere. I love the USBc cord since it does power and visual/audio at the same time. Definitely a must buy.
