We put together her computer -- and it didnt work. I went through a lot of testing and deduction to figure out the problem. Its raspberry pi based, which requires an SD card with bootup software. Fortunately I had another raspberry pi in the house already, with working software. Through trial and error, discovered the SD card they sent her isnt functioning.

My kids are constantly asking to play on my computer so I love that this is something they can have fun using while actually learning. They love it!

Easy to setup and get going right out of the box; theres no sys requirements or downloads. I love the easy to follow and friendly video demos. The material and delivery is a little dry, but the fun part is actually designing a game. I also like that there was real time chat available (Mon-Fri) I think its a great way to inspire and motivate my kiddos and me. Now I want to learn how to code too!

Ordered this for my granddaughters. They have learn so much from the Lessons. Cant wait to see what all they can do when they do more lessons.

I have been an Amazon customer for a long time, I have never returned a product but this product is very misleading, picture and description is not what I got, I got a small damage box with a code for 15 hours of java training, I can get those free at YouTube. Very disappointing product.

I bought this for my 12 year old God son who is big into computers and wants to be a game designer when he grows up! He was so excited when he opened and started it right away!! We both give it 5 stars!!

Very helpful as an introduction to coding

I got this for my 10 year old that wants to be a gaming coder when he grows up. He has completed the first lesson and say it was easy to follow and is learning a lot (he is still interested in being a coder, so it cant be that bad). The kids growing up in todays world will need to know all the tecky stuff when it comes to electronics, so getting them more advance isnt a bad idea, especially if its what the want to go to college for. Very happy to be educating his brain while having fun. Very happy with this coding program.

My 13 yr old son received both the Javascript and the Python lessons for xmas and really loves them thus far. He is hoping to be a game creator/programmer in the future so this was a perfect intro course on both of these programming languages.
