As you brush when you have brushed the recommended amount of time in one quadrant of your mouth, the toothbrush alerts you that it is time to switch quadrants in your mouth. Then theres the app, yes theres an app. The app provides you with statistics on your brushing habit and pattern showing where in your mouth you spent too little time or where in your mouth you should spend more time focusing on. The toothbrush connects to your phone via Bluetooth. Lastly, the battery appears to last quite some time. I was afraid the fact that it uses a small not so powerful AAA battery that I would have to replace them frequently. However I have had the toothbrush for between six and nine months and I have only replaced the batteries once.
