It has kept its color, shape, and size over time and with washing. It is easy to put on and take off, but the arms are snug-fitting, especially with a long sleeve shirt underneath. I dont mean uncomfortably tight, I mean that is the fit of the jacket. It does not look sloppy. This is an excellent fall and spring jacket for my 3 year old granddaughter
