We use these gloves for sorting beer/pop cans. Theres a 5-cent deposit on them in my state, and people at my church donate their containers to raise money for charity. A group of us sort the containers, some of which have a little bit of their contents still in them. A drop of soda here and a drop of beer there, and youre hands can get sticky and start to smell like beer. These gloves prevent that, while allowing us to maintain dexterity. I dont think Ive ever had one rip open either. Your hands will sweat from wearing them, but thats the nature of vinyl gloves.

Having now compared the Comfies to another reputable vinyl glove brand Ive used, regrettably I must concur with some of the other reviews that the tensile strength of the Comfies does not measure up. While the material is certainly very comfortable, it also feels lighter in weight and less dense by comparison. I am certainly tearing the wrists upon donning the Comfies with far greater incidence than with my other trusted brand (which is not impervious to tearing either, but is certainly more resilient).
