24-11-2024If youve used wooden (or similar plastic) shims, you should have a good idea of what they are and what they will do. These are comparable to any other plastic shims I have used in years of construction. I think that you can be confident with these.

> 3 dayThese are just like any other composite shim at initial inspection. I have no doubts that they will work the same too. No complaints here.

> 3 dayIm not using them for tables. I used them to level redwood planks and stones for a raised bed. They worked great, were easy to cut and stayed put. No deformation is apparent after several days. These have a variety of uses and are a good price.

> 3 dayIt was easy to adjust the amount of shims to break the partial shims, which I was needing to stabilize the posts on the deck. This product did exactly what I wanted. I like the fact that they go from thin to thick, so you can cut it to the length and height level you want.

> 3 dayAny place that calls for just a smidge of leveling or nudging into alignment is a place for a shim. These are more weather resistant than wood, even treated wood, so they are virtually indestructible. Ive used them for aligning and leveling door and window installation when the building youre retrofitting stuff on isnt quite square. They work for laying out walkways and decks, levelling shelves and appliances...oh, so many things! You get 40 shims in this package, so that should go a long way, since they can be snapped off to just the length you need. This is a good buy.

> 3 dayThese shims are made of sturdy plastic. They are tapered at one end to make easy to jam them under uneven furniture and appliances. I like that they can be cut to the desired length by a tough pair scissors. I expect these to have a long life span. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayI find uses for shims all over our place so I like to have a bunch around. Not only are they useful for leveling appliances or window and door frames, they work great for leveling pieces of wood out in the shop when resawing or surfacing. I also used them for initial leveling of pool table slates (then finish with playing cards). Easy to break or cut.

> 3 dayJust like duct tape you will find so many uses for them inside and outside the house. You will be suprised at everything you will grab a shim for. I just recieved these and have already used a couple of them. Hopefully this bag will last me a while. Good price for the quantity you get.

> 3 dayI like these cause they work great. As good as wood shims. They snap or break so easy and stay in place better then wood. I like them. They are a little bit cheaper then wood.
