Compression Springs Assortment Kit, 390 Pcs 24 Different Sizes Stainless Steel Springs, Spring Assortment for Shop and Home Repairs

Im a tinkerer, so Im geeked to have this nice assortment of small compression springs in various wire diameters, i.d.s, and lengths. I have gone to the hardware store numerous times to purchase these types of springs. All the hardware store carries is regular spring steel. Now I have this great little set on hand, in all stainless steel. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel is great with springs, because oftentimes they end up on outdoor power equipment or immersed in a liquid.

If you need a smallish spring (or several) these will probably work for you. The paper liner shows sizes and compression strength. Good value.

I was looking for some very small springs to use in some 3d printed objects. When I read the measurements, they have AxBxC where A and B are the inner diameter and outer diameter ID and OD. By size, they should be very small, which is what I wanted. The smallest shows an ID of .018 or .45mm. Thats less than half a millimeter. On a ruler, the smallest wire is closer to 1/8 or .125. Thats a massive difference. As far as the spring feel and quality, they should do well to work wherever they may fit. But, size-wise, I believe the print is way off. Due to this difference, theyre now all much bigger than anything I was anticipating using them for, but Im sure I can make them work somewhere. My rating is mostly based on the representation of size.

I got these springs to fix the spring on one of my clippers but now i can’t seem to find those clippers. Once i find those clippers ill post a picture but for now they feel like good quality springs.

You get a lot of springs with this set and theyre all great. From looking through them I didnt see any that have any real issues at all. They are a bit thicker of a wire so they have some good strength and rebound. While they dont exactly replace some springs there is enough variety in here that you can find one that works for whatever your use.

Springs are a nightmare to keep track of. Super easy to lose and nearly impossible to find replacements. Most of the time you dont have a second one to compare size when going to the hardware store you have to guess. These have a good quantity and assortment for medium sized stuff. Comes well labeled with sizes in each slot, force rating. Quality seems good. Faster than a trip to the store and more convenient that looking for 30 minutes to find the original one that flew out.

Great value for the quantity. I will buy again.

Great little package of springs, Cant speak to Durability as yet but will up date when I can. As of now I recommend.

This is a nice assortment of springs for all around use. They seem well made and return to shape after being compressed. I like that they are stainless so they wont rust.
