I have a few linen garments that need patching, and I came to Amazon to look for something beyond the traditional iron-on patches. I was happy to find this fabric, which looks like linen although its made of cotton. The range of colors is so wide that Ive found something to match each of the items that need repair, and the fabric looks very much like linen. I havent actually used it yet but will update this review if I have any problems. Im not anticipating any, since the fabric seems strong.

I was making a scrappy jeans quilt and decided to add a bit of interest and color and thought that chambray would do the trick. It did! The 5 inch squares were just enough to make stars, hearts and triangles, etc. Beautiful colors and texture.

I bought 2 packages of these charms to mix with another charm pack for a quilt. The colors are vibrant and will match up with any color on a quilt. Great for making place mats and coasters too. Lots of possibilities. I recommend these to any crafter or someone who just wants to learn something simple to make. The pinked edges are a plus because that means no fraying.

Material was a great quality. Has a good weight/not see through.
