High quality bottle. Lid snaps well. My least favorite part is that the mixer ball is awkwardly heavy and it bangs around a lot while shaking. Otherwise great buy.

I have several and have been using them for years at this point. They also fit every cup holder (to include the ones built in to the bottom part of a car door) I have perfectly.

This Contigo bottle is just as good as the original Blender Bottle. I find it is helpful to add some water to the bottle before adding powdered mixes, as it helps prevent clumping on the bottom. The bottle holds 28 fl. oz., the same as the large Ball Mason jar I usually drink out of. My only small complaint is that particles get stuck around the inside of the opening. I use this to make my meal drink in the morning (DIY Soylent), and it is much quieter than using a blender, and easier than using a whisk.

I had this same one, but bought it about 8 years ago. It lasted a long time until I dropped it and it fell sideways creating a small leak. This replacement has great updates (less plastic in the mixing ball, lighter overall. Great product and never leaks. I highly recommend.

Look no more, this is the king of shakers. As a long time user of Smartshakes and other brands, I can tell right out the box this is superior quality and build. It mixes very well and easy to clean. Superb! And the price is nuts, very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: After a few days, see the image that says shake. I believe that is the best shake motion to avoid any serious harm to the bottom, I understand a lot of force its needed to break it but it is true that the ball is heavy but perhaps this suggestion seems to avoid any direct contact with the ball and the bottom of the shaker.

I have had the bottle for many years and I like it. I would love to see some kind of modification to the top for much easy to carry like to make it loop a 45 angle. But other than that I like the varsities.

I purchased the one with the black top because it was the cheapest. I was pleasantly surprised because this is a very nice mixing bottle. The cap screws on and off easily and you can give it a spin and it turns freely. The lid snaps in with a pop and I have not experienced any leaking. I use it three times a day. The top opens with a little resistance and is not hard to use. As Arnold might say, only a girly man would complain about this top. My wife who has very strong hands can flip it open with the back of her thumb. The bottle is large enough to leave an air space which helps with the shaking. A good shake leaves no residue. Try some vanilla protein whey powder with goat milk and a couple of liberal shakes of cumin powder. Very delicious. Keep it shaking.

I see many different reviews here, but it appears that there are many buying options on these (which appear to be somewhat different designs, not simply different colors). This review is for the item in the review title; I cant speak for the other item options. Its GREAT for mixing cocktails. Thats all I use it for. Simple as that.

Overall, the ball is light. Past products had a heavier ball which allowed for an easier shake. It is fine, but the old shaker they had with the heavy ball was superior.

This is the best quality shaker bottle Ive ever had. I bought it because of the cheap price but it is super nice. Ive had a few before this that never seemed to get that blender quality consistency in a shake, but this bottle does a perfect job. The ball seems to be the perfect weight, and the 28 Ounce capacity is great. I highly recommend, and this is coming from someone that rarely leaves reviews.
