Im a straight up person this Contigo shaker has no leaks100%. I wasnt going to buy because of the comments but iv notes people are just picky on every detail.100%

Pros: -Wider Mouth -Good seal around mouth -Good Seal around top and body -Curved bottom easier to clean -Strong mouth lid, wont snap off -Good mixer design, prevents lumpy shakes -No plastic smells -Thicker handle on top, less likely to break Cons: -None at this time Ive bought many protein shakers and this one met my needs. Ive had mouth covers snap off because it was to weak, Protein spilling around the top because the seal was poor, and I stop using the metal spring mixer because they left the Casein Protein too lumpy. 5/5 from me.

giving 3 stars because of inconsistent quality. First one I had was from the store and was awesome. Sturdy cup and lid, good seal and grip, mixed everything, easy to clean. The inner shape of the cup matching the shape of the ball really makes the difference. Unfortunately, that one Ive lost. Second one was from the store too, but didnt last long. As reported in other reviews, the bottom of the cup cracked and started to leak. Ive tried to use other bottles for my shakes for several weeks, but none gave the same ease of mixing and cleaning. Since it was no longer available in store, Ive ordered one from Amazon and this one leaks a lot during shaking - seal is really bad. After second use Ive requested to replace the bottle. Thanks to amazon - I dont need to ship the old one back, saved me a ride to their local office. Now waiting for a new one.

This Contigo bottle is just as good as the original Blender Bottle. I find it is helpful to add some water to the bottle before adding powdered mixes, as it helps prevent clumping on the bottom. The bottle holds 28 fl. oz., the same as the large Ball Mason jar I usually drink out of. My only small complaint is that particles get stuck around the inside of the opening. I use this to make my meal drink in the morning (DIY Soylent), and it is much quieter than using a blender, and easier than using a whisk.

Im absolutely in love with these. Our daughter is on medical formula that we have to mix up every day. We got these based on a recommendation from other people making the same formula. They are designed so the formula doesnt get stuck in the corners and the ball mixes everything so much easier than the wire balls in our previous shakers. With our old one my husband would shake it so hard we would almost double the volume of the formula. With the Contigo just a few gentle shakes and its all mixed up.

Originally, I picked one up at Walmart for my husband. I decided to buy one for myself after he started kidding me about not being able to use his own bottle. Its been sturdy and leak proof. However, you do have to push hard on the flip top to get it to latch. It sort of clicks once, but keep pushing until you feel it catch firmly. After that, its good to go. Even though we turned it upside down and shook it vigorously to test it, the bottle refused to leak. But, you do have to be sure that the flap is closed all the way. The inside is bowl shaped so its easy to hand wash or put in the dishwasher. I can put a large carabiner onto the handle and clip it to my backpack. The bottle itself is fairly lightweight without bogging down my backpack too much. The bottle fits into the cup holder in our van. The walls are fairly thick but its not insulated. I use this in the car, at work, camping and outdoors for iced or cool beverages, but not for hot drinks. Dont even try it with soda. The pressure builds as it does in any soda bottles. You know the pop that you get when you open a soda bottle? This bottle has a flip top spout. What I cant address is how the bottle is when used with the shakerball. My husbands shows no signs of damage even though it was dropped several times on a cross-continent road trip. But, I cant say how it would be if vigorously shaken daily with the ball inside of it. Ive shaken the bottle several times when it had ice cubes in it to mix flavoring packets and havent had a problem. The road trip is what convinced me to buy for myself. Its easy to drink from and holds 28 ounces. Refilling the bottle at water fountains on the trip quickly recouped the cost. Easily my favorite of the bottles that weve owned.

I use this bottle for just a regular water bottle and I love them. They do have a week point though. Over time the threads on the cap will brake and then it will no longer seal. But they make very easy to clean and useable water bottles.

The ball inside really helps keep stuff from all sinking to the bottom! light, easy to clean, holds up well in dishwasher. My husband and I have purchased 3!

I dont buy shaker bottles. I wait for people to give them to me for free with something because they usually end up splitting at the bottom and leaking. I used points to order this. Whats better than the rest: 1. Nice wide mouth. I use cottage cheese in my shakes. This is perfect. 2. The bottom of the plastic version is rounded for easy cleaning. Every Blender Bottle Ive used kept disgusting whey bits in the corners. 3. The volume measurement on the side is actually readable, unlike the Blender Bottles Ive used. 4. Holds slightly more than my old Blender Bottle.
