I am a teacher with young ESL students. This product is a great tutoring tool! However, one of the vowel blocks (the _ e _ block) had the e on the wrong side of the block. I had to use a Sharpie pen to make use of the block.

My son was needing some extra help with CVC words and this was just what he needed! It made it fun and yet still learning. Nice quality

It is a cool set. When we got to zip it did not include a Z in the set.

My 4 year old daughter was so excited to get this! There’s a lot packed into this box; there are picture cards with the words on the back (they are color coded by the vowel), there’s a wooden letter holder and wooden letters. There’s also a bag to put everything into once the box is opened. The letters are a good size, very readable. The letter holder holds the letters pretty well. This will definitely be a great tool as I teach my daughter sounds as we work towards early literacy. She likes being involved by picking the cards and putting the letters in place. She is also proud when she learns the new things! Great tool.

My son is almost three and can identify all the capital and lowercase letters. He knows the sounds they make. This seemed a logical next step and it has been great. You can use these in many ways. “What is this word”, “how would you make this ___ instead of ____. “You make a word and I’ll read it” etc… These opened up his awareness of letters to words and has him trying to sound out almost everything he sees now. The only negative I can say is the box is hard to put back together. We will be getting a different box for easier storage.

I am a kindergarten teacher and these are great for learning beginning and ending sounds. They also help with substitution of sounds. They are sturdy. The cards are heavy duty. The tiles are hard wood.
