I’ve been using these types of humidifiers in the winter for years. This one works quite well and has good output. In order to avoid them from needing to be cleaned a lot, I only use it at night and completely empty out the water from the base and the part that holds the water during the day. I leave it open to dry. This seems to solve any build up.

It’s nice and quiet and a full tank lasts all night on a medium setting. The light feature is cute but we never use it.

So, completely full, Ive noticed it runs for about 6-7 hours. Its very quiet, it doesnt beep or anything when it runs out of water, so it doesnt wake me up. I really wish the light could be one color. Its either off, or changing colors and its kind of annoying if youre trying to sleep. Ive seen a lot of people say the top portion gets moldy and isnt really accessible to clean. I havent had it long enough to have that problem. But I do think its stupid that the piece on top isnt removable so it COULD be cleaned. Also, I know people say warm mist and cool mist do the exact same thing for the air, but when I used a warm mist humidifier, the air felt very different to me. With the cool mist, I honestly cant tell the difference between the air in a room without the humidifier vs the air in the room its in... Another issue with cool mist is, it falls. So if you have this on a wooden dresser, nightstand, etc. The mist literally just immediately falls and the surface is damp. So I wouldnt put it on your brand new $700 dresser unless you want it to be warped and waterlogged.

This is the humidifier you buy as a first step, to see if youre willing to commit to a more expensive one. It gets the job done but is soooooo difficult to clean for no reason! They very easily could have made a great, affordable product, but chose this design. I dont know why.

I really liked this humidifier. It compares well to the safety 1st ones. My only grievance was that it did not keep a solid light on. Options were light off or scrolling color light. It kept my kid awake at night. Quality is great though, and I would still recommend it if the light thing is not an issue for people!

During the winter it is extremely dry and after getting two nose bleeds in three days I bought this thing and its so much easier than ones of old. You can leave it on and take the top off to the sink; fill it back up and drop it back on. There is some build-up after a couple of months since its tap water but nothing is on the agitation part so it still runs flawlessly. Im a light sleeper and it doesnt bother me or the dogs.

This humidifier is great especially now for the summer it throws out cold air instead of hot air easy to work would definitely recommend it
