Great bag. Comfortable to carry.

I travel a lot for business and always take a laptop, tablet, and notepad . I have been looking for a well made soft travel bag to keep all my gear in that was not big or clunky and had lots of places to keep various items like chargers, flash drives, power cords, and the like. This one caught my eye and I am currently on my first of many business trips. I am so happy with how well it has worked. The laptop has its own padded area with a Velcro secure strap for safe keeping. My 15 inch MacBook Pro fits perfectly. It has another zippered compartment for my notebook where I keep documents, boarding passes, etc. I like the idea that is has straps to use as a backpack or a shoulder strap if you prefer that.. The straps tuck away neatly if you do not wish to use it as a backpack. This is one of the most cleverly designed travel bags I have ever seen. I am VERY pleased.

I have a gaming laptop that wasnt initially meant to be a work laptop but is now a work laptop. A Republic of Gamers ASUS G75V, which has a 17 screen. And its thicc, unlike all yalls Macbooks (1 spine). And needless to say, most laptop bags dont handle laptops that big. Being a photographer doesnt make things any easier, either. There werent any worthy camera bags that I could find that could hold my lenses AND my behemoth laptop. So, I have a bag for each. Regardless, Coolbell came through. Despite my laptop being big and thicc, she barely fits comfortably. As in-- it fits, and I can tell its a close call, but it still closes with ease and I never struggle with making it fit. Though, if my laptop were any bigger, I imagine itd be a pain to zip up. Before this, I had a laptop shoulder bag that served me well for several years, but the strap broke. Twice. Since it, fortunately, didnt break my laptop, I had to get another one. And going with a new brand is always a tough choice. But the look and design, plus all the positive reviews, convinced me to give it a shot. When I was first browsing, I remember being really worried about the backpack straps. Id never heard of this brand before, and I was afraid that it was meant to be a shoulder bag, and that the Backpack idea mightve been an afterthought. But if it was, they certainly didnt treat it that way. The backpack straps are super comfortable and sturdy. And as a photographer, Im constantly putting down and picking the thing up. Since Im doing Real Estate Photography, Im constantly hiding it in cupboards and closets while I shoot the home. And no matter what direction/side I put it down, theres a comfortable handle ready to be grabbed in any direction. My previous bag had a flap and buckles, which I was hesitant to lose in this design because of the extra storage, but how professional this looked helped convince me. Its so sleek, with great color options. And in the end, the storage worked out super well for me. I was able to fit my giant laptop, 2 mousepads, mouse, portable Logitech keyboard (with case-- not a full-sized keyboard), and power supply comfortably with plenty of space to spare. Granted, Im not carrying all that much, but it works great for me. This product feels great. Im a big fan. Im hoping the durability is as good as it feels. Ive only had it for a short while, but it doesnt feel cheaply made. Honestly, as long as it lasts me another year or two, if it happens to break, Ill buy it again. The design is just that good. I love this bag.

For almost 20 years, I used BumBakPaks Hampton bags. I loved their use of space and versatility. So when my current BBP bag began to finally break, I went to get another one... only to discover BBP is no longer in business. <insert sad emoji here> After MUCH research (way more than I wanted to do), and making one purchasing mistake (a backpack that I ended up giving to a friend), I decided to take a change on this CoolBell bag - and couldnt be happier. It has plenty of pockets for cables, earbuds, and more, while also allowing me to carry 2-4 books in one of the large areas. and my 14 MacBook Pro along with my Bible and headphones case in the other large area, all while not looking like I am going hiking for the weekend. While Ive only had the bag a few months. so cant speak to the bags durability, I am impressed with the construction. Doesnt seem cheaply made. I mostly use my bag in backpack mode, but can switch to briefcase mode rather easily (I dont use the messenger bag mode as that has proven to be hard on my low back). And least important (but still sort of important in my heart) - the bag looks great. The only thing that would improve this bag is a water bottle holder on the side when in backpack mode, but because of its ability to switch to a messenger bag, I can understand why they didnt include it. If I didnt put so much stuff inside, I could slip my water bottle into one of the large interior pockets, but for now, I have decided to just be content to carry my water bottle.

I first saw this bag on a couple waiting in line aread of me on my flight at Thanksgiving. They were so kind, and shared the order information for their amazing backpack bags. This bag is so versatile! I use it for work as a cross over bag. However, it has easy to access straps to wear it as a backpack. There are so many special pockets and places to put small things, large things and your laptop if you need it. I cannot say enough about how much I love this bag. I gifted it to myself from me, but it would make a great gift for any traveler/student/businessperson/teacher/busy mom/anyone really!! The husband and wife from the airport reported that they owned their bags for many years, yet they looked almost brand new. Also, I dont travel for work, but the fellow told me that he doesnt like to travel for work in his suit. However, his coat, pants, shirt, tie and dress shoes plus his laptop, files and a few toiletries and extra clothes fit easily in this bag for a short business trip (overnight-2 days). If you order this bag, you will not be disappointed! I think this is the last bag of this kind I will ever order. I am totally hooked. Thanks to the good people at CoolBELL for creating this lovely bag, because I love my CoolBELL convertible messenger bag!

I love it. If you like to keep things organized, you will love this bag. It has a lot of different compartments. It looks super professional and its very spacious. I always carry my laptop, two or three books, keys, tablet, pills, glasses cases (I need 2), feminine hygiene products, hand cream, pencils, pens, tape, and so much more... and all its in their special place. I havent had any loose string and none of the other features have worn.

Ive only used for a few weeks. I really like the look, the storage compartments, the padding, and I especially like and purchased it so that it can convert to a backpack--particularly for airports. I have not used the backpack mode regularly yet. Im having no difficulty with the zippers or the backpack straps falling out as in other reviews--Im not sure how that would happen unless the bag had very little in it--but there is an opening on the bottom edge (in briefcase position) of the backpack straps pocket, and it makes no sense to me why that is open and why the material isnt closed on the seam there, the opening does nothing from what I can tell. I feel like I got what I paid for in terms of durability and craftsmanship and that is why 4 stars on each of those. I would give it 4.5 stars overall to date.

Everything is good in terms or storage. Although I wish it would extend out just a little bit more out to hold more notebooks or rolled up clothes. If youre looking for a bag just for the office for a laptop or for business travel to carry light books and novels, then this is a good recommended bag.
