Coolibar UPF 50+ 48 Inch Calotta Fashion Umbrella - Sun Protective (One Size- Silver/Green)

Very pleased! Provides enough shade. Actually a few degrees cooler under this umbrella! Ive recommended it to friends.

I bought this umbrella because of the good reputation it had. My friends have them, and they have stood up for 7 years. Mine is just over 1 year old, and the sun repellant layer already started peeling off. (See photos). Coolibar won’t do anything to resolve it, since it was purchased through Amazon. I’d urge potential buyers to think carefully before spending this amount on an umbrella, without knowing if the manufacturer and vender will be willing to resolve any problems that might occur.

Doesnt help as much as Id like on 100-deg.+ days (needs a fan & A/C unit, probably), but then, Id like a pristine planet heading into an ice age, too. Still, when the sun is ferocious, this umbrella does help me to feel slightly cooler (by a couple of degrees, maybe? -- not *10*, as one reviewer claimed). Maybe one of the best features is just how cool it *appears* to other people. On a beastly hot day, others will covet what they imagine to be your oasis of coolness. Everyone wants to know where I got it.

First and foremost, the umbrella featured here has an outside that is silver, not white like whats implied in the pictures. They didnt hide this fact, but the sample picture in terms of outside color is deceptive. In saying that, the silver color is more similar to a silky duct tape color, which as presented is tolerable and pleasing to look at. Coolibar should consider putting a floral design on the outside to give it a hip look. People will notice the color from a distance, however where I live theyll notice someone carrying an umbrella around during the day regardless. The inside is a dark green color that resembles camping gear. Its actually a very beautiful green. It also has some white netting underneath that acts as ventilation for airflow. I imagine this is to prevent buckling and inverting. Very neat.

Works well in sunny Florida. Keeps the sun off of you as well as keeps you cool.

My mom was right! This really helps keep you cooler from the heat of the desert sun. Its not too heavy, and has a good handle to hang over your arm when you need to collapse it and have your hands free.

I have used this fantastic Sunbrella every day since I got it. It provides a large enough shade canopy to cover me and my chair at my sons soccer games. It also performs beautifully in very breezy conditions -- not a hint of flipping inside out. I love the curved handle for throwing over your arm when carrying things to and fro. The longer handle also makes it comfortable to carry when walking. When this umbrella is open, you cannot see the sun through it, even on a full-sun day. I am so glad I spent the extra money to get a fully functional umbrella. Highly recommend!

It is lighter than I expected which is great because I take walks that last at least two hours.

Nice - sturdy umbrella keeps me cool under bright sun 100 degrees. The only complaint I have is that its made in China. I prefer to buy made in USA products. Had I known its made in China I would have not purchased it. Going forward if item description not listing country of origin I may have to call the vendor to find out.

this umbrella works great, it is like standing in the shade of a building, a good 10 degrees cooler than without. but get the big one or anyone you are with is out of luck.
