23-11-2024This case was just what I wanted for a really reasonable price. It’s about half the size of the official quest case which was really my favorite thing about it. It makes it easy to travel with the quest back and forth from college. I did have a small problem with the zipper snagging at first but it was a easy fix to pull the extra fabric back.

> 3 dayAll the pieces fit, but its just an open case. No interior padding or support for the game pieces. It works if youre just looking for something smaller than the original box to hold your console, but I would not put much faith in this case for a travel case - the headset literally just sits inside unsecured.

> 3 dayI purchased this case because it said it would fit the quest 2 with the Elite strap. I had an aftermarket slightly larger strap and it didn’t fit. Weighing the cost of another case, I opted to purchase a smaller “Elite like” head strap. That didn’t fit either. So I finally broke down and purchased the real Oculus Elite Strap thinking surely it would fit within. But NO! It doesn’t shrink down small enough to fit. The case is nicely made and looks sturdy, but if it doesn’t function for it’s advertised purposes, then it’s a failure. So, my assessment is that it fails.

> 3 dayI got this for my son for his Oculus 2. It was a little confusing how to set everything in it to close it properly at first but we got the hang of it after a few times. It seems protective but I am not fully sure because it’s not like I’m throwing this thing around. It is Not huge and bulky like others. I like the accessories it comes with too. They’re more of a bonus because the case is the best part.

> 3 dayThis case is great for light travel. I wouldnt necessarily check it as its own bag on a flight or anything, but for packing things up to take along to a friends house, or to bring along on a road trip, its perfect. The case is nice and compact, lightweight but still stands up to being bumped around, and most everything has a place. The only thing lacking is a dedicated space for the cords, as opposed to a bag, but thats pretty incidental. One absurd caution: if you use the lens protectors (and I recommend it), remember that youve done so before you put the headset on again after a few days. I use the glasses extender on my headset, so when I got mine back out of the case and put it on, I went through a few minutes panic as the coming online tones sounded, but no O appeared on the screen. I felt pretty silly when I realized this was because I had forgotten to take the lens protector off, but with the extender on, it wasnt close enough to my eyes or my face for me to notice right away. ;)
