Expensive, professional marker set. Worth every penny as they were a gift to my 11 year old daughter for her birthday. Now she is using them to create some pretty amazing color art, and even started making videos on YouTube. Check her out if your curious how well they work: [...]

I just received my new set of copics!!! The shipping was fast and the item was way more then what I expected. After using prismacolors for years I am now a convert to Copics!!!! They blend so well and are so vivid! I am amazed at the quality and the different techniques you can use. It is almost impossible to blend the prismacolor markers they work well for technical work, but for anything with people and landscapes copics are the best! I got the 72 set A to start it seemed like the best starting point, but I am going to purchase the set B and 36 pack of E to finish the collection of ciao. I will move on to some sketch to fill in the color gaps the ciao has. They are expensive but any real artist should invest in these. It is also nice they are refillable and you can purchase new nibs!

Ive been eyeballing Copic Ciaos for awhile and finally took the plunge and purchased them. Im really glad I did. Part of the reason I chose to purchase these as opposed to the Sketch markers was because I was getting tired of picking out individual colors at Michaels for absurd costs. *Pros - super easy to blend, lots of colors to choose from, case to protect your markers and keep them organized *Cons - sometimes the markers might bleed outside your lines you make, the caps dont have the color numbers like the sketch markers but instead on the barrel of the marker Ive used Copics for years and I can honestly say I prefer this Ciao set over any of the sketch markers Ive purchased over the years. These markers have their pros and cons but if youre looking for markers that blend well, have plenty of options, and are at a good price compared to another art store these are the ones for you!

Wonderful addition to the set I already had. It has additional shades that makes my work look more and more professional. I love the set and the supplier was beyond fantastic in their service. A good set at a better price than two of the 36 marker sets.

I purchased the Copic Premium Artist Markers - 72 color Set A - Intermediate Level. Just so you know where Im coming from, I am not a professional or even student artist. I just find I need markers for various things, and my daughter, who is an artist, told me Copic were the best. So I splurged on the 72 A and B sets. What I didnt know is that the Premium Artist Markers Intermediate Level have a long and very flexible brush tip on one end. and a thick ¼ inflexible beveled edge on the other end. I just went and looked over all of the product description, etc., on the page where I bought the set, and a brush tip is no where mentioned. And the wide width of the other end is no where mentioned, either. Im keeping the sets, but I can see why it is called Intermediate. The brush tip works very much like a real brush and needs an extra level of skill to not squish the tip all over. And getting a thin line from the edge of the beveled end of the pen also takes some practice. On the plus side, what I was hoping Copic would give me, that cheap marker sets cannot, was genuinely LIGHT colors. They didnt fail me. The Cotton Pearl # E00 and Milky White # E51, for example, are nicely pale if you only swipe once, and only begin to darken if you swipe twice. AND, this set includes a marvelous Colorless Blender # 0, which really brings the color down to nearly invisible. If you use it on top of Cotton Pearl, you are left with the barest touch of tan. Use it on Pale Pink # RV10 and you have barely a blush. Alternately, the darkest colors are very dark, opaque and true-colored. As youd expect from its name, you can use the Colorless Blender to fuzz up the edges where two colors meet. Ive included some sample swipes done on plain copy paper. Monitors vary, but the colors come out true on my PC monitor. Lots of beautiful tones, a wide variety and quality ink that has almost no odor at all. The plastic case they arrive in is a little flimsy, but so far so good. EDITED TO ADD: I also purchased the brush tip set 72B (from this page). Different colors, of course, but comments are the same. 72B does NOT have a solid black (though it has a very dark gray) and it does not include a Colorless Blender. More recently, I purchased the 5-marker Skin Tone set (also from this page). These pens are brush-tip/beveled edge. There is some duplication with sets 72A and 72B: Cotton Pearl (E00) is also in the 72A set. Tea Rose (E93) and Barley Beige (E11) are in the 72B set. Pale fruit Pink (E000), Dark Suntan (E15) and Copper (E18) are not contained in either the 72A or 72B sets. Happy Reader

Excellent quality markers that i have been using for a while. I love that you can replace the ink and nibs. It is surprisingly easy. The replacement ink is about to change to a smaller size due to be released in September i think. Still love the markers.

This is really expensive, almost like the same as prismacolor, but they are great! If you dont mind the pricing, YOU WILL LOVE IT. They are refillable, double-sided, color coded, (if you want it on the cap or bigger, get the sketch, for random people that just strolled on this and dont know anything xD, the sizes from small to big is, ciao, sketch, regular(big if you ask me), and wide. go search it up or go on their website, its really popular, actually.) easy to blend, alcohol-based, and ect, ect , ect. The nibs are nice, one side is the brush tip, and the other is chisel (I think, but it was crisp and everything.) In my opinion, if you never got copics before (like me....) or like you dont want too many and just want to use them, then maybe this set is what you should start with, It basically comes with everything, The colorless blender, Black, Brown, different shades of gray, and different shades of other color, (plus the color codes are quite close, so that means blending can be better) you can add to your collection later when you get more. xD But this is more small, so if you are working on something more big, then maybe sketch would be better, or the original cuz they hold more ink and are bigger. Dang. xD I typed too much.
