Bought these as a fun paranormal experiment. I dont know if you believe in the spirit aspect of them-- but they do move on their own. So they make for a fun party trick. There is some science behind these & they will cross over water or electricity.. They have handles- so the rods can spin freely in with no friction from your hands-- much nicer than another one I tried years ago, where we had to put a pipe in your hands and then insert the rods so they can move freely. The Pendulum was a nice add-- still not sure what the bottles are for-- but okay-- thats one way to unload extra inventory lol. A cool bag or case would have been a nice touch, but I can make something, I guess.

Just recently Id heard of dowsing and I ordered these to see if they could help clear negative energy. Ive had a situation between two cats at home in which one is aggressive towards the other at times. Work done by a Shamanic practitioner resulted in her saying that follow-up energy clearing may help. Interesting outcomes with these rods - I sat near each of my cats with them, when near the cat who is the aggressor, the rods crossed over each other and formed an X. I prayed and cleared the energy and no more X. I walked through the house and found 4 or 5 areas where the rods crossed and again formed an X. Cleared that energy. Interesting to see that since doing that earlier today, the sometimes aggressive cat has gone over to greet and sniff noses with his sometimes victim. This is a big shift. I think these rods may be a nice supplement to other healing work. So, considering this experience, Id say these are good rods!

These copper rods were delivered in perfect condition despite my worries and other reviewers who complained about them being bent. Theyre a little difficult to use; theres a right way to hold them that isnt easy to achieve. Nevertheless, practice makes perfect. The little pendulum was not the one Id hoped for, but it was still cute. Cant wait to try these out while ghost hunting.

I believe these are one of the better pairs available on Amazon for dowsing rods. They moved well w/o hesitation and felt good in my hand. I believe they’re 100% copper and feel solid. Three separate people tried these with the same results.

I had not dowsed in a few years with Ls. Was annoyed at first when they swung OUT parallel to the line Id just walked over rather than crossing as they do when doing spot targets. Then I remembered they are suppose to do that! Years ago Id generally just grab a few wire coat hangers, but these days they are as scarce as clothes pins. Handles could have been two inches longer, but not everyone has catchers mitt-sized hands. Never used witnesses but they seem nice, if it helps. The pendulum swung well and worked like any other I have used. Nice products that have no bearing on accuracy in my experience.

This is my first time with buying/owning/using dowsing/divining rods, and I did as suggested in some info Id found online about dowsing, though rather than actually saying it, I just thought This is how it should look for a yes answer, and the rods automatically crossed; then I reset them to pointing straight forward, and just thought This is how it should look for a no answer, and they turned outwards. Then I tried some yes/no questions, and the rods answered, first starting with questions I already knew the answers to, just to further test them, and they answered correctly. Then I asked some questions I wanted to know the answers for, and they answered yes or no to them, some questions I even repeated, and got the same answer. Then my final question, I asked it if the house my husband and I are having build would be completed and ready for us to move into by end of December, the rods said no; I then asked the same question, but for January instead, and the rods just stayed pointing forward, which I took to mean either uncertain or maybe, so I then asked the same question again, but for the end of February, and the rods said yes, so it seem we should be in our new house by end of February. I would totally recommend you to my friends as the merchant to go to for quality dowsing rods, if they should ask where I got mine from, as they are of superb quality, being hand made rather than made by machines, and they are af great quality materials, being made of solid copper.

Beautiful rods, nice little pendulum. It came in a nice felt pouch and includes a pamphlet on how to use them and a bit of the history. Nice set indeed!

Nice quality copper dowsing rods and pendulum. I am well-versed at pendulum dowsing and I’m trying dowsing rods for the first time. The rods were not responsive to me at first, then I remembered the tools that work with our energy field sometimes like to be “cleansed”. There several ways to do this, I chose to put them in the freezer for five minutes. Once they came out they were quite responsive! Be aware of how you hold them, i have large hands so I had to be careful that the bottom of my hand didn’t interfere with the movement of the rods. You can see in the photo that the bottom of the rod has a cap on the end, much like a knitting needle-if your hand is touching that it inhibits free movement.

I bought these to train on so I can eventually use to help find the best place to drill a well on property up in the mountains. Admittedly, modern geosciences should be used by licensed professionals for drilling the well, but it would be nice to have a second opinion so to speak. I’ve only had these rods for a few minutes. As soon as getting into position and going still, they pointed to a server rack filled with network and audio equipment. I then asked them mentally to point me to the nearest water source, and they moved to my bathroom. My father admitted to trying when he was younger and failing. I’ve never known him to be sensitive to spirituality and often pragmatic. That said, what gave me the idea was a story by my great uncle who ran a construction company. Apparently, buried cables, lines, and pipes are the bane of contractors. A professional dowser saved him from accidentally cutting an unmarked fiber backbone which—if cut—would have cost him tens of thousands of dollars in damages a day as it was repaired. As for this item? My only wish was it came with a case for the rods to protect them but I can source that myself. I got the crystal pendulum not the copper. I didn’t even realize that was a thing. The pamphlet that comes is pretty useful too.

I absolutely love these!!! We on a walk through my woods... They found my property line perfectly, how? I don’t know, the buried metal spikes or what it was...the energy, but they knew exactly when I crossed my property line by turning from Straight forward to completely backwards! I was impressed. We went to a notorious place for spirits and energy and did a question asking experiment and you could actually watch them cross for Jos uncross when you ask them to uncross them and they would completely stay still for no! it was amazing! For all you people skeptical and on believing in that it also reacted with the EMF detector at a few places so when the EMF spiked the dowsing rods would cross or spin in circles believe it or not. And if you don’t want or care about stuff like that they also crossed out my hundred-year-old well in my backyard and a gun at a natural gas pipeline we have running between properties. Which is originally why dowsing rods were made for finding water or open spaces like mines with what? energy holding crystals and or metal.
