> 24 hourI wear this as a pendant. Im highly allergic to nickel. I shower with it and it rests against my skin and have had no issues. It is so detailed and beautiful. I love the texture and that it is an exact rattling replica of a rattlesnakes tail. The sound is strikingly on point of you can get it moving fast enough. Its a great conversation piece.

> 24 hourThe piece is a little larger than expected and is a little heavy to wear around the neck but I got used to it. I wear it on a thin 7 mm figaro chain and it works fine. The bail is round I wasn’t expecting that. And the biggest thing I don’t like was something I obviously knew before I bought the piece. I don’t like that there is an eyelet at the top. I personally believe it’s a little tacky and lazy of the designers as opposed to the bail being incorporated into the piece. There could be a good reason for the design being that way but I don’t know of it. I’ve been a fan of copportist.wu since the first Mangshan viper keychain which I still use on a daily basis and I will continue to buy their products.

Design inspiration：
The rattlesnake is one of the most venomous snakes in the word. It has a rattle at the end of its tail and will shake it 40-60 times per second at the first sign of threat, making a loud intimidating noise to scare off the danger. The rattle is made of keratin, the same hard substance that makes up our fingernails. It"s actually completely hollow on the inside, the noise comes instead from the hard keratin links of the tail hitting each other at high velocity.

THE STORY OF THE RATTLESNAKE
The name Crotalus comes from the Greek word κρόταλον, meaning rattle, a percussion instrument passed down in Greek folklore to describe the "rustling" sound a rattlesnake makes when it is threatened.
When offended by an intruder, many snakes will quickly shake their tails to intimidate the enemy, as if to say, "Stay away, or I"ll do it again! But only rattlesnakes and pygmy rattlesnakes (Sistrurus) subtly upgrade this visual signal to a wider-ranging acoustic signal with the help of a ring.
The rattlesnake"s high-frequency tail muscles cause the scales at the tip of the tail to rub rapidly against each other, emitting a continuous rattling sound, which is amplified by the ring"s hollow cavity and becomes the rattlesnake"s signature "rustling" sound.
Because of their fierce character, some politicians of the time, such as Benjamin Franklin, saw them as the best representation of the "American spirit".
In December 1775, the first flag of the Marine Corps, the Gadsden flag, was flown for the first time on a U.S. Navy ship. It was a yellow flag with a rattlesnake with its head coiled and a 13-knot ring on its tail, representing the 13 British colonies that preceded the founding of the United States. Underneath it is written "DONT TREAD ON ME", indicating that the United States will fight back as determinedly as a rattlesnake. So during the War of Independence more than 200 years ago, the rattlesnake once became the animal representing the United States.
