Why do these filters come in diffrent sizes? They are for the same aquarium, I had bought these and they didn’t fit. Bought from a different seller with different measurements and they didn’t fit either. I decided to upgrade to the INTANK media holder , and although it’s expensive it’s worth the money. Take my advise. Get the intank media upgrade for the aquarium

I picked this up for the 32 gallon biocube and it’s exactly what I was looking for. It matched what came with the tank. After I rinse it in the sink I give it one final rinse with water from the tank do not to introduce chlorine into the tank. Just let the water coming out during a water change run right over it. It rinses clean very quickly with very little dust. I keep the old one in the filter body off to the side for a few weeks to transfer the beneficial bacteria as well. It’s just playing it safe. I do not need an ammonia spike in my tank. These are small enough and sturdy enough to allow me to do that without a problem. They’re sturdy and well manufactured so they don’t need to be replaced often.

I continue to buy these filters for my daughters bio cube. Buy in bulk and don’t have to worry about running out. Have consistently bought these from Amazon for over 3 years.
