Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2021 | Video Editing Software with Hundreds of Premium Effects | Slideshow Maker, Screen Recorder, DVD Burner [PC Disc] [Old Version]

I ordered Corel VideoStudio 2021. The installation on my laptop worked fine but when I attempted to open the application, the splash screen would appear but the application would not open. Ive contacted Corel support three times to troubleshoot this but all they have me do is to uninstall the application, then reinstall it, then try to open it again. This has never worked - the same problem remains. It doesnt appear that I can return this software so I have no way to get my money back for this software.

Worst product experience of my life

I have run Video Studio 4 and 6 so am familiar with the product. The current version is very similar. Takes awhile to start and heats up the computer but no crashes and once up and running is responsive. There exists a downloadable from Corel very helpful PDF to get you junk done . Recommended

I have better video editing apps. You cant do more than one thing on this at a time or it gets glitchy. You can add music to videos.

Man, was this a disappointing experience. I installed the software and everything seemed to go smoothly, but then I noticed all the crazy bloatware that was installed on my desktop afterwards. Turns out using all the default settings during the setup installation process results in tons of additional and unnecessary software getting installed on your computer which is difficult to completely remove. Theyre not very upfront about this. To make matters worse, VideoStudio constantly crashes. I wasnt able to complete editing any videos because it would crash for no reason and didnt save my work. Once this happened a few times, causing me to start from zero each time, I gave up and threw in the towel. Corel used to stand for quality visual and word processing products. But now theyre just bloated and filled with bugs. Disappointing.

I do a lot of videos for family gatherings, book reviews, etc. This Corel Video Studio Ultimate software is perfect for my needs. I can cut, add, colorize and many more things to any video in my collections.

Very detailed manual. Ive used Corel products for years. Always something new to learn.

I have Video Studio X10 and have tried to purchase VS 2022 upgrade twice now and had to get refunds because the program just wont download on my windows 10 machine. Tech support had me deleating C++ files and doing registry edits, oh my. Ive tried to stay in the Corel family but unless it becomes available on a disk, Id say stay away. Other reviews might cover the content but I cant even DL it. I had Pinnacle before but it is download only and Corel download system is broken.

Im not able to effectively review a product that will not load on my computer. I have all the requirements on my computer, it should load...but it does not.

Waste of time.
