WordPerfect buried Word! Been using it since WP5.1 for DOS, and then WP6.1 for Windows 3.1. Far better than Word - alt F3 reveals codes that word does not let you see. Quattro easier to use than Excel.

Beware. WP 2021 cannot import address book Outlook 2012, 2016, or 365. Corel stated in the WP 2021 setup it can import addresses from the outdated Outlook 97/98/2000/XP. No mention of Outlook 2012, 2016, or 365. Even when the import is successful it does not import all the fields in Outlook specially the display names and addresses!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad that Corel is still in business with their phenomenal product. This software is easy to use with features that are not located in Word. I was trained on this software and it is very convenient. It is comparable, or even better, than Word. I really like this software. If you are a new user and need software that will assist you, try this one!!

For decades now, I have used WordPerfect for developing professional documents and personal correspondences. Users have virtually unlimited control over each component of document preparation, and resulting document files can be readily converted to other system formats as needed. I highly recommend this product.

Ive been using WordPerfect since I discovered there was something other than Word Star for my DOS double disk drive. My favorite thing is that I actually own a tangible copy of the software, rather than license it with an annual fee, and it comes with a suite of other office products, none of which automatically updates with hard-drive challenging peripheral nonsense. This version has added a complete dictionary to the database (which is more helpful than I expected), additional graphics and fonts, and several features I have yet to explore. It imports existing files without locking up, doesnt destroy older material with unnecessary improvements, and lets me explore the behind-the-scenes code to track specific document edit challenges. The spreadsheet function is very user friendly, and the presentation/slideshow program is good from a basic-use standpoint, offering quite a few templates (although, I still use OpenOffice as a foundation for my presentations, as it plays nicer with animated gifs). I update about every other iteration or so, and where I have had to use the other word processor at various entrenched institutions, I always go back to WP for my own projects and communication (I even laid out a complete 500 page text, with graphics, with WordPerfect, which converted things to pdf without a hitch).
