Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

I like the case. A major design flaw though is the 3.5” hard drive cage is too close to the power supply mount. I had to remove the drive cage and opt out of using a HDD drive to be able to mount a Corsair power supply. The instructions were also unclear for a first time PC builder such as myself. For example, how do you mount a SSD drive to the case? Also, the thumb screws are really tight from the factory. Used pliers to unscrew them for first time. I paid MSRP and am not sure it is worth the price paid. Needs these design fixes then all will be well.

Do not buy this if you plan on using an artic liquid freezer ii 280mm, and want to either mount the rad on top or on the front with tubes on the bottom. It does not fit on top with my MSI Mag Tomahawk x570 or my Asus Prime Z170-A, there is just not enough room between the VRM Coolers and the top of the case for the thick rad + fans. Additionally, dont think you can fit fans on the front like you would an NZXT case. Both fan and rad have to be behind the metal mounting point. You cannot sandwich the mount between the rad and the fans like you would with NZXT.

This case looks great. Don’t be afraid to get a case that’s not black or grey. The front airflow piece looks nice, and the tempered glass window is somewhat easy to remove, but the inside leaves plenty of room for components and cables.

It works. Filter is nice. Quiet enough. Cable management is good enough.

VALEUR SÛRE! Rien à dire sur ce boitier dexcellente qualité et de belles finitions. Format carte mère ATX, il est parfait en tout point! De la place dans les 2 cotés afin de recevoir les plus grosses cartes graphiques dernière gen... et pour le câble management tout est organisé avec des scratchs et goulotte pour tout rassembler afin de faire quelque chose de très propre.

Dropped the tempered glass by about 1/2 an inch and the corner of the glass committed suicide and broke off. Solid airflow tho, better than NZXT airflow but idk about physical quality.

The case is very well made and easy to work around when switching computer parts.

Have had it for a few months now and works amazing 100% would recommend!!

So I bought this for my first ever PC build and couldnt be happier. The criteria were a mid tower ATX, average to smaller than the average as I dont have that much space to place it in, plenty of airflow (so mesh front at least), black color, has some feet to raise it above the floor for PSU intake, and not look completely horrid! This ticked all the boxes, and went above and beyond those!
