Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

Nice item

I bought the top-notch hardware, 13900k and 4080 RTX and Asus Z790 prime A and DeepCool 1000w platinum power. Gotta admit one thing, it looks cool, but just the outside. Its so hard to install into the case. The screws I got from the case to fix the motherboard were sooooo bad. You cant even fix it well. Besides, spoiler alert, the front audio input is always broken. Its a design problem with all the 4000D cases, your microphone cannot input voice. I complained so hard so that my initial review didnt even get through and was deleted... I dont recommend this case, total waste of money for 100 Euros

This tower made most of the build pretty easy and has decent airflow. I would recommend a 5000d Airflow if your doing liquid cooling and wish I had got that one just for a bit more space but this does everything it advertised. Only weird quirks this tower has is no HD indicator led and depending on the board you use the routing for the front panel inputs can be tricky to do cleanly.

The material is great and all but I’m guessing during shipping it got dented. I’m not going to send it back because I don’t want to have to wait for a replacement. But overall it’s a really nice case!

This case is highly regarded and its well deserved. The case is super easy to build it, has every feature most builders need, made with great quality materials, and looks fantastic. The only criticism I could see is the tinted side panel; it darkens any RGB you have and obscures your view into the computer, meaning you cant really see your components in a dark room. Other than that, its a great case.

Nothing to dislike actually

I brought this case to replace my Corsair Spec Delta case as the tempered glass smashed and because of a clearance issue with my AIO and ram. Speaking of clearance issues beware if you have higher profile ram than the HyperX Fury RGB as my graphics card is sitting on thr bottom of the dimm with about .5mm clearance. Also there is an issue with mounting a larger than ATX form factor psu as my modular psu requires the hard drive cage to be on the last mounting holes anything longer wont fit with the hard drive cage installed. The case is spacious and clearly cable management was one of there top priorities, there are multiple channels, for cables to route through so only minimal cable is visible. Cutouts rather than rubber grommets for an even cleaner look. I must say the case was a pleasure to build in with ample room for my hands. the ascetics of this case are top notch. The case is easy to clean with removable filters , I live in a flat that seems to generate a ton of dust and Ive had this case for almost a month Ive needed to clean the dust filter once and the case once. Then again its wasnt very dusty I just dont like it building up. The case is really well built aswell even with both side panels off theres absolutely no flexing when applying pressure.

Case is nice, the finish is clean. Only 2 small downsides. Not too big of a deal, just a little annoying. Kind of a tight fit in the front for radiator. And super tight fit for power supply. You have to attach all cords before you put in, and try to slide and wiggle it thru the side (watch your fingers). Just a nightmare. But I made it work. Also not really space for fan commander. Used one of the ssd slots :) 8/10. All and all finished outcome looks lovely. Id recommend the 5000D. Looks like they fixed these issues already
