Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

Fantastic case to build and custom loop in. The airflow is great and the dust filter isn’t restricting. Lots of space for cable management. I am not too impressed with the black fans, but they probably perform fine.

Wanted to do a mainly white build and this is a great case!

Un excellent boitier, spacieux et dune esthétique sobre relativement élégante. Aucuns problèmes pour y loger une carte-mère ATX, un Ryzen et son Noctua massif. Pas plus de soucis pour caser une eVGA GTX 1080 pataude. En revanche, cest un peu la galère côté alimentation et périphériques de stockage. Le compartiment réservé au bloc dalimentation ne facilite pas linstallation du câblage par son exiguïté, surtout lorsquil sagit dajouter ou retirer une ligne après coup sur un bloc modulaire. Pour les HDD cest plus la ventilation qui pose problème avec la configuration basique, à deux ventilateurs. Perso jai ajouté un Noctua sur lemplacement du bas et décalé le Corsair dorigine, du milieu vers le haut, juste en face du CPU et des barrettes de RAM. Pour le reste, rien à redire ! Le câblage complet se fait plutôt discrètement avec un peu de patience et de réflexion préalable. Oh, si ! Pour justifier le titre de ce commentaire, deux petites choses qui peuvent fâcher. En premier lieu labsence de témoin dactivité HDD sur un boîtier incluant des LED fantaisie totalement inutiles (heureusement désactivables via le bios). Une unique LED supplémentaire qui elle, aurait été indispensable... dommage ! En second lieu, ce boîtier ne dispose daucun emplacement pour loger un lecteur de disques optiques et ça, cest vraiment une grosse erreur. Sans une clef USB pour installer son OS, bonne chance ! Adaptateur externe indispensable ! Et puis tant quà râler, pourquoi disposer un unique port USB sur le dessus ? Une fois une clef logée là, le moindre geste inapproprié et quelque peu violent et cest la catastrophe, surtout avec les clefs en plastoc cheap... Bref, messieurs les concepteurs, lidée de placer les interrupteurs Marche/Arrêt et Reset sur le dessus est excellente mais stupide pour tout ce qui va dépasser.

Built my first PC with this case. Very user friendly. Allows for good cable management without clutter like other cases I saw. Good airflow and design all around. Glad I got this for my first build.

Well built case with good cooling and cable management options. Pleased with my case. Only had one small issue so far and the was the dust filter for the power supply unit sometimes made a buzzing noise if not seated correctly but once I worked that out, all good.

Its a very nice looking case. Airflow is obviously fantastic. Corsair seems to have fixed the loose front filter problem.

I ordered this case. It arrived but the corner was bashed in to the point you couldnt open the tempered glass side because the top of the case was bent around blocking the tempered glass side from opening. Submitted a return... then waited for the replacement to arrive... the replacment had issues too... their were ~7 plastic pieces that were all busted off and loose in the packaging including one of the latches on the front panel so the front panel was loose and wobbly, a leg so the case wouldnt stand flat, and multiple plastic supports inside the case were all busted off. The boxes of each case had minor abuse from shipping, but nothing I would consider out of the ordinary, so I have to assume the primary party at fault is the manufacturer and that this case is just not very well built...

Above all this is perfect for people who would love good cable management but arent great at it.the ability to remove almost all outside parts to give it a clean out after the dust eventually builds up.
