This has been the highest quality and most durable mouse pad I have ever owned. The edges have not frayed and I have not experienced any fading or discoloration in high wear areas. The style may not be for everyone, though, I found it to be pretty neutral.

I bought this to leave at work as I use the extended version at home. I roll it up at the end of every day and it has minimal fraying. The left side that my mouse drags over regularly is slightly frayed, but this is because Im more used to the extended version. Great mouse pad. I would highly recommend it

the only negative thing i can say it it some times slides around on glass desk top and if your limited on room go with the smaller one.
