> 3 dayBought this POS because it was highly recommended and Corsair has a good reputation as a brand for a top of the line PC build (x570 mobo, ryzen 9, etc). The first one died the day after installing it, after my computer went into sleep mode and something must have tripped electronically because it went dead instead. Replaced it, second one seemed to be working fine for a week, then the lights flickered for a minute and the thing completely died again. Both times, it was on a name-brand surge protector and was the only device that had an issue. I had another of these PSUs on hand for a duplicate build, but Im returning it and this DOA one. The 8-year-old Rosewill PSU plugged into an almost decade-old build thats been running 24/7 next to this brand new build 4x the price had no problems through these little flickers, despite being on an off-brand surge protector. One could have been a fluke, but two in a row going completely dead over the tiniest fluctuation in power says its a build problem. Im not rolling the dice with another and letting it fry my motherboard this time.

> 3 dayI built my current pc, meaning I ordered components, installed the MOBO, etc. I had an issue and correctly diagnosed that the issue was a dead power supply. I ordered this and it was here by 8am the next morning, which was great! I installed it...fired it up...and nothing. Still a dead box. Assuming I had been sent a good part I surrendered and took my box to a pc repair store. In their trouble shooting they connected it to a power supply on hand and it fired right up...meaning I was sent a dead power supply. I talked to Amazon and the manufacturer about reimbursing me for the labor cost of the pc repair store and they wouldnt do it. I assumed I was sent a working part, and wasnt going to order another PSU just in case I wasnt. Seems hokey to not reimburse the labor for a cost I would have never incurred if Id been sent a working PSU. Corsair rep was very short and rude. Ill never buy Corsair again

> 3 dayThe Corsair Store is apparently not affiliated with Corsair at all. The factory said this vendor sells returned and refurbished units and they will not honor any factory warranty when purchased through this vendor. I have a power supply that failed in less than 6 months and I now have a paper weight. I am going to contact Amazon and see if they are aware this is a sketchy vendor.

> 3 dayMy unit came with 2 fixed 8pin CPU cables, but is missing the 4+4 cable. Sadly the Asus ROG Maximus XI dont have enough room to fit a full 8pin connector into the 4pin slot (the board needs both an 8pin and a 4pin CPU power connector).
