Failed after 8 months - trash

Corsair offer a 10 year warranty on this.

Yeah, I got this Power Supply for my PC. I spent over 4-5 hours installing it and organizing the cable management in the back. After all that time, I was proud of my work. I put everything back together turned on my PC and......NOTHING. My PC wasnt powering on unfortunately. I was so confused. I re-opened the back panel to check the cables and everything, I was sure I connected everything the way it was suppose to be. I double checked if everything was plugged in correctly. Tried turning on PC again and still Nothing. I was so pissed off. I tried changing the cables multiple times and no luck. after another 2-3 hours trying to figure out why the PSU isnt powering my PC. I came to an agreement that my PSU by COSAIR was faulty and arrived broken. $160 wasted. I used a 1000w EVGA PSU and it worked like a charm.

I am going to replace the cables it came with because they are bigger than they need to be. Still a great power supply thought.

Using it for a RTX 3080 and i9-9900k system and its perfect.

Very happy with this power supply. Previously had the predecessor to this version (the CMPSU-520HX) which is still going strong 9 years later.

This PSU can handle large power draws that come on suddenly by having Photoshop come up while having 20+ browser windows open and tabbing from a game on a third monitor. Well worth the purchase.

The only con I have with this power supply is that it only has GPU power cables with more than a single end on it. Kinda hard to tuck away the extra head and have it look clean. Other than that its a great power supply and its very quiet.

Very easy to install, super quiet, comes with every single fully modular cable imaginable. Does its job perfectly and reliably (Ive had very good luck with Corsair products) Only note is some of the cables are VERY stiff and not easily bent, also as they are very thick cables it may make cable management difficult if you dont have enough space on the backside of your case.
