Corsair RMX White Series (2018), RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White, 80 PLUS Gold (CP-9020188-NA)

My Corsair RM750 died suddenly, during normal use, after 6 months. Very disappointing considering how highly rated it is and that it comes with a 10 year warranty. Maybe Im just a very unlucky individual who got a defective one, but Im still disappointed since I went with a higher end power supply.

Not sure about noise level, it was easy to install but only gets 1 star because after 4 hours of troubleshooting it turns out the power supply was DOA and I had to go by Best Buy to buy another one to get my computer up and running.

Fan doesnt turn on unless playing graphic heavy game. Fan noise is covered by your system fans/ cpu fan when it is under load. However, u can hear the slight transistor noise when your pc is off and when you have the power supply on- especially when you put your pc on top of your desk. Cant hear the noise if you put the pc under the desk

Pci is garbo

This is great and would have given it 5 stars if they didnt say flat when describing the cables. lol

I am not an expert in pc building but this psu is working so far. Mostly this is a review for the provider as I had ordered one which didnt end up working, not sure if it was the psu or my computer, but the return process was very easy and they were quite communicative. I recieved a replacement in a timely matter as well.

It’s a good power supply

Item received dead on arrival, seems like a sturdy unit with decent cables, but they sent it completely non functional and I wasted lots of time trying to make it function.

Overall a great product. The unit fit inside of my box perfectly, no issues. Love it, so glad
