There is no setup possible if you need a 4 pin atx connector for the CPU. I have a Msi Z490 A-Pro and I needed an extra 4 pin adaptor to make work the computer. Be carefull to read what wires is included. My cooler master 750 psu offer a 8 pin 4+4. It fit the connector but dont boot on the corsair psu but work on my cooler master! Sadly not every factory wiring fit between maker.

I hate to write reviews. but in this case I am like others that are disappointed with the quality of Corsair with their PSU. my system needed an upgrade and this unit was a good deal. However, I have a suspicion that this PSU was a refurbished vs. new. it did not come with the full package (missing just some items like the user / install manual that laid out the motherboard connectors, etc. ). So far during burn in, it was first DOA, but this morning a touchy cable started working. I am going to test for a while this week and decide if I can use it steadily or not. It might have to go back.

I carefully installed this PS, but the MB wouldnt fire up. Installed an old PS and it worked. I checked it with a PS checker, no 12 volts. Returned it to Amazon and got a refund quickly.

The Nylon jacket and rigid tape on the cables is totally unnecessary for this type of scenario ‘ Computer Build‘ It only makes the cables stiff and hard to maneuver and a undesirable appeal . It does not give the wires or insulation any type of protection inside a computer. I did stripe mine. If so make sure not to damage the insulation or you can buy their “Custom Package” Same cables but without the nylon jacket and type

Pros:modular, quiet, easy install, fits the Coolmaster H500 case nicely.

There is power but the fan is not working.
