This memory is hands down the best stuff Ive ever used. It fits perfectly in the case, and looks great. I noticed an instant speed boost after putting it in.

No good. I bought 1 set for my gaming computer, and 2 sets for my workstation. My gaming computer is fine (thats set 1) and has been fine for several months.

Ive been getting that dreaded blue screen ever since Ive had this PC, but it was getting worse of late. I tried changing the power supply and reapplying thermal compound to the CPU, to no avail. I finally gave new RAM a try. It has been been a few weeks now, and no blue screen. Not only that, but my PC runs overall more smoothly and boots faster. FYI: My old RAM was Patriot. Just saying.

Update (10/28/15): It has now been three years since I installed two pairs of these memory modules in my home-built computer (4 DIMMS, for a total of 32 GB). The memory has operated flawlessly.

All I had to do to install these, was to pull out the old memory sticks, and just pop these in. I noticed an immediate difference in how my computer ran, from booting up, to playing World of Warcraft with iTunes, and discord playing in the background. If I decide to upgrade my computer again, I will definitely grab another pair of these.

What can I say... massive heat sinks... great price... great product! Can be pushed way beyond 1600! Ive built multiple systems with this memory including top-end FX8350 and I7 gaming boxes and never had a failure!

Running 24/7 in Windows Server 2K8 R2 for a client. Corsair quality and compatibility is always top notch albeit pricey. When you buy Corsair you get what you pay for.

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
