So far this is a much better purchase than my previous one with Komputerbay the package seemed untouched and kept my ram safe. Both sticks worked well. My only claim against it is the size. The cover is unnecessarily big and it seems very feeble. Ill update it anything else happen.

Optimale produkt. Preis gegen leistung sehr gut.

16Gb is enough for even the most demanding game, while its also good for some statistical analysis where the dataset isnt crazy big. Have to take out the heat spreader to make it fit under the CPU heatsink in my mATX board, but the taking apart isnt particularly difficult. If you intend to use the heat spreader (the comb like metal thing) you might want to press a little on it, coz when I take them out I notice on each side about one to two chips were not actually touching the adhesive (and no marks on it)

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
