It is what it is. It works in my Dell XPS L702 that is 8 years old and only supposed to accept a maximum of 8GB. It has given my laptop a new lease of life. One screw to undo, two clips to flip open removed the old RAM . Reverse to fit and boot up. 16GB recognised and laptop now happy as Larry.

Exactly as described, very easy to install. Added capacity is great and they reach their advertised speeds perfectly.

I used this memory to upgrade my new Mac Mini - Late 2012 (2.5 i5) from 4gb to a full 16gb. I had no problems installing the memory and it functions perfectly. Also, an additional benefit to this upgrade was that it allocated 768mb to my Intel 4000 integrated graphics...definitely helped overall performance.

I picked up a Mac Mini (my 1st mac) and it only had 4GB of ram. It was a very fast machine out of the box but as I started to load it up with software (adobe suite, office and such) it started to bog down a little so I figured ram would be the 1st upgrade. In stores this would have cost me much more so I figured the price is right and I did it. The ram is very high quality and installed in minuets. Have no complaints.

Only rating 3 stars because the set of DIMMs that I got are defective. I have had at least 22 blue screens due to memory issues that started about a week after I installed this ram into my laptop. Now I have to spend another $100 on memory. Only issue is that I never got the warranty papers from Amazon when I ordered the 3 year warranty with it. Its an all round annoying and convoluted issue with this purchase and Im not happy with it.

I have an Ativ book 8 and it ran 8gb at 1600mhz before and after I added this ram it dropped to 1333mhz... I dont know if I should return it and get a new one or if its something with my computer. Anyone with one of these want comment on if their speeds changed?
