Upgraded from the standard 4GB to 16GB.

The difference between the 6GB of RAM that came with the HP DV6 LapTop and the i5 2450 Processor and the Corsair Vengeance Laptop Memory Kit 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL10 PC3 12800 (CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10) is like comparing Light to darkness. The speed was increased dramatically and the Memory operations per second jumped from 6.3 to 7.3 on the Windows Experience Index. I can now run any Flight Program with multiple combat scenarios.

I got this to max out the ram in 2 of my laptops. Runs great, would recommend to friends looking to optimize their laptops performance.

Misleading of capacity.it didnt specify that the 16 GB will be 8 GB only for the two units not 16gb each.

I really didnt notice any speed boost when I upgraded from my previous 8GB. But then when started rendering a project from Davinci Resolve, I noticed a huge speed difference! Maybe its because Davinci was designed to maximize the use of all available hardware.. anyway.. speed is awesome! But for daily computing, you will hardly notice any difference... even for boot up! Im using a Mid-2012 Macbook

These work perfectly with my computer. I have a HP Pavilion dm4-3550dx thats about two years old and was lagging badly due to insufficient memory- I have to run programs like Chrome, Photoshop, and word processing in tandem a lot of the time, and two of those are HUGE resource hogs. Factory-installed memory was 8gb (2x4), but the motherboard can handle up to 16gb, so I got these from Best Buy to replace it.

My Razer blade 2019 came with the default 16gb of memory as I wanted to upgrade. I bought this ram as Ive had a lot of memory from Corsair and its always performed well. No exception it installed easily into the laptop, and it booted up right away.
