My IMac was the base model from the 2017 27in,I was just adding 1tb instead of the base configuration,the thing that was holding the performance was the memory ram that was only 8 gb,clearly not enough,every time I was doing some photo editing the IMac was super slow and in most cases the computer was rebooting the system in the middle of my work,leaving me with a mess because nothing was getting saved and I was losing all my progress,on top of that the rebooting was a pain in the ass because fort was getting freeze the screen,nothing was working,then after a couple of minutes was turning the screen black and was letting me know that something went wrong and after that the thing was restarting,now I’m working perfect,no more problems,I really recommend expanding your memory ram instead of buying a new IMac,you can really same a couple of bucks,I was also recommending to clean your caches and I was explaining how to do it,that helps a lot your computer (apple devices) ,this technique was given to me by and apple technician.

I ordered these to put in my Zotac Magnus mini PC and they work excellently and run at the advertised speed. Ive been using Corsair memory is most of my builds in the last few years and I havent had any issue and expect the same from these.

Put it in my two HP elitebook 8470p with 16gb in each laptop they are smoking fast. Rendering in blender is almost instant when it used to take over a minute when I only had 4gb ram.
