> 3 dayI chose Corsairs RAM package for my new gaming build, pairing it with a new i5-8600K and an Asus Z370A Prime motherboard. It came highly recommended as a reliable non-ostentatious brand that would look nice in my non-flashy build. Unfortunately, one of the two DIMMs appears to be DOA. Everything was working fine for about the first hour of use, but then I started seeing Windows 10 system crashes - throwing out pretty obscure errors (for example, something to the effect of Error - attempted to write to read only memory). As part of trouble shooting, I moved the two DIMMs two the other set of RAM slots. The system then booted, but only recognized 8gb of RAM. However, the crashing problems also stopped with only the single DIMM recognized.

Greater than one weekIts pretty good ram. It rams the heck out of some caches. Gonna buy another 16gb just cause it rams so hard.
