One RAM came perfect! The 2nd RAM was damaged, its such minor damage, could barely tell at first. It looks like a resistor? Could be wrong, but the 2nd one down from the top in the image you can see it is missing.

I assembled Ryzen 3900x and 64 GB (4 sticks), NVME ram on MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max (released late in 2019) and have the latest BIOS updated. In BIOS RAM speed is 2133Mhz. Checked using many utilties and it is 2133MHz. XMP-A activated MSI shows the 3200MHz profile but it does not get applied does not get errors in boot but BIOS still shows 2133Mhz only so XMP profile does not get applied (confirm with memeory utiltiies and win10 utilties). Ask MSI for help - no luck. Spend many many hours with Ryzen DRAM Calculator 1.7.3 and Thaiphoon and changed setting one by one with small changes. After watching many you tube videos and lot of forum questions and tweeking I can get it to work 2733Mzh. Cannot get anything beyond that with 4 sticks. With 2x16 GB only I managed to get 2833Mhz and may be able to go further. Whatever I do cannot go beyond this 2733 for 4 sticks. I may play with this more but most likely return it and get TEAMGROUP T-Force Dark Zα (Alpha) (for AMD Ryzen) 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) 3600MHz (PC4-28800) CL 18 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Module Ram - Black - TDZAD432G3600HC18JDC01 as it seems to be optimised for Ryzen 3 and better speed and yet cheaper. I do not want fancy RGB as I am building it to run as hypervisor (Proxmox)

If you just want pretty ram bars in the PC that sync up with iCUE then these are a great option at a good price.

Ram fantastiche

I fried my wifes prior motherboard (AsRock Z77 Extreme) and CPU (i7-3770). The MB used DDR3 RAM so I needed to buy new RAM when I bought the MB and CPU. I ended up going with a Ryzen 5 5600G on an ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Plus.
