These work perfectly standalone. However if you are trying to double your ram (add to an existing and matching in spec 16GB kit) then be aware there is a chance the memory chips will be manufactured by a different supplier (Samsung, micron etc) and this will cause instability when combined with a kit that contains different memory chips. Better to purchase a 32GB kit as they’ll be paired with the same manufacturer for memory chips.

Ive used this RAM with several different types of motherboards (200, 300, and 400 series) and varying brands (including Asus, which seems to get a fair share of hate). This RAM is amazing. This RAM is basically plug and play, the lights work on all of the motherboards Ive tested, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Just remember to change your XMP profile to 3200 in your BIOS and youre good to go. This is by far the sexiest RAM money can buy. People giving this product 1 star either received a defect or have never built a computer before and are blaming the game instead of the player

Cheaper than what Best Buy was offering for slower speed. No problems getting them to work with the iCue software on a B450 Steel Legends paired with a 3700x.
