Very bright LEDs but brightness can be changed with iCUE software (really large file size for such a software). XMP enabled and works well. Temps within norm. Not sure abou the small holes on the side of the ram (where light can pass through), but thats a personal preference. When brightness is lowered, individual LEDs can be seen underneath the plastic.

Installed ram into motherboard, machine booted up with no problems, but when running ram diagnostics one of the banks was identified as a wrong part number, thought maybe the program was buggy, but instead it was a defective device. it ran fine for a little over three months and then finally crapped out, machine would no longer boot [Dec 26, 2017. Product warranty through Amazon is expired, But it has a lifetime warranty with Corsair. Guess ill have to contact Corsair for a replace part.

Good ram. Works like a charm on video encoding, gaming and more! The LED are fun but not necessary.

Everyone but Linus knows RGB makes your RAM faster.
