When I saw the vengeance pro ram in a YouTube video I really loved the look of the rgb over other rgb models and decided to give the ram a shot even though I had had bad experiences with corsairs ICUE software in the past. When I got the ram I immediately started to see problems once ICUE was booted up. The ram was not being recognized in the software and the rgb effects could not be altered at all. I searched online and was able to find a fix by shutting down three corsair operations in the windows task manager and restarting the software. Viola the ram was recognized and all was well, but then after a day the rgb effects were out of sync and opening and restarting ICUE did nothing at all. Restarting the computer did nothing as well. The only way to get the ram back to normal again was to open the task manager and stop 3 corsair operation and restart the program, but the problem kept coming back. Sometimes it would only take a day and other times the rgb effects would go out of sync every time the computer was turned off or put to sleep. While the memory portion of the product works fine, I would give this product only 1 star because we are paying a premium for rgb, but that feature we are paying for doesnt even function correctly. If this was a one time thing with a corsair rgb product not living up to what it promised I would probably think it was just a defect or bug and be easier on my review, but this has happened to me with this Ram and a k70 keyboard in the past on separate computer builds as well. While I love the way the rgb looks when it works, I would recommend people to go with another brand as the ICUE software is just a nightmare to deal with and isnt worth the money or hassle.

Amazing RGB ram, the colours are bright and works amazingly

Ordered 32gb worth of RAM and installed them In all 4 slots. Upon bootup all but one started displaying rgb. Other one only displayed white. Found out it was short circuted and it almost destroyed my brand new rig. I know Corsair is a decent brand but I almost got incredibly unlucky from a faulty product. Currently only using 16gb and waiting for my money back.

Only can overclock to 3733.
