> 3 dayI needed something like this after milling a few pounds of grain without any extension--thats work! I looked at this after the price of motorizing my Country Living grain mill drove me away--$385. It takes the point of leverage out from 5 to about 9. Carl Bradys review of this $33 Extension Handle said Good concept, just not quite long enough, so I thought, why not make a longer one? I did that. Mine takes the handle out to 13.5 from the axis of the mill, using 3/16 x 3/4 bar stock, a bolt, a nut & a zip tie. Milling wheat berries is now a dream. Yes, the circle is big, but manageable. Its the same amount of work accomplished over a larger radius, but without the perspiration.

Greater than one weekWorks great to help with the grinding. Especially for corn, which is harder than wheat.

> 3 dayI was skeptical that this would actually improve the process any significant amount, but I was surprised at how much it did improve it. If youre going to pick up this grain mill and run it by hand this should be considered a mandatory addition.
