Cove Base Gouger - Cove Base Groover and Cutter

Worked well with rubber trimmings we put in our garage. No problems using the tool at all. It is sharp, cuts easily and straight. Its pricey for just one use but there doesnt seem to be anything else to choose from.

I saw this tool used in a Youtube video and found it on Amazon so ordered it. I used it to apply wall base in my whole house. I think there is a learning curve but after the first couple tries, I figured it out. It is very sharp so be careful!

Works great. Used it for removing material to fit outside corner installing cove base.

These are hard to find locally. It seemed to work as intended. The design is basic and functional.

Invaluable tool for cove base installation. Dont even consider anything else if cove base is your project.

Works as advertised if you use it in the proper way (which has been described by other posters).

This is a great little tool. Im installing rubber molding for the first time and without this tool, its almost impossible to get a flush mount to the inside and outside corners. Couldnt find this tool any where except for Amazon. I watched a YouTube vid and saw the guy using this tool to install rubber molding and didnt even know what to call it. Great find, Amazon comes through once again when no one else seemed to have it.

Where has this tool been. Used to grove cove base with utility knife with hit or miss success but this tool works great. Now my outside corners look great.
