CRAFTSMAN Torpedo Level, 9 Inch, With Shock Absorbing End Caps (CMHT82390),Red and Black

If you are looking for a handy, easy to read level you wont go wrong with this one. I have a few levels laying around. One is too long and some other are very short. All of them have been with me so long that they are somewhat hard to read. This one is small enough to throw in a bag and very easy to read. You get what you pay for and you can spen a ton of money on a level but the end result is; they all have a bubble and they all pretty much show you when things are level. I would think that if you are picky and leveling something at home has to be at government specs. Or if your personality type stresses out over a 10,000 of an inch difference then you need to spend $200 instead of 10 bucks. All I say is that for 10 bucks it will tackle any job the avergae homeowner needs to do.

Only machined on one side. Quite level. This is a fine small level, and it could handle being knocked around a bit, but its not as rugged as some other levels. It only really works on the one bare-metal machined side. You could use this for many projects, but its not as sturdy or versatile as higher end levels.

This is our second craftsman level because we liked the first one so much!

Well worth the extra money. Red, easy to read, keep it on the refrigerator so it doesnt migrate to DH stuff & get lost.

Best little level Ive ever owned. Well made and with a magnetic strip to aid you when setting shelving, awesome! And yes, Id recommend this to anyone needing a good, 9 inch level.

Great little level. One side is magnetic so it adheres to metal surfaces. It’s very portable at 9 inches fitting in my Dewalt drill bag.

It didn’t have machined aluminum and an embedded magnet on one of the sides. It literally had a strip refrigerator magnet glued on one side.

I opened the box and loved it from first pick up. It’s sturdy, looks great, has magnet on bottom. Perfect size for my smaller projects.
