Crayola Crayons, 8

Greater than one weekI bought these for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who was destroying crayons by the hand full, either my stepping on them after they rolled off the table, or just Incredible Hulking them in his fists. Its been over 35 years since I last bought these and they have definitely changed. First, they are three sided, not flat bottomed like they used to be. I suppose that doesnt matter too much although I though they were just fine the way they were. Second, they are thinner than they used to be. Im not happy with this. One, they will break easier than the old flat bottomed ones, and two, youre getting less crayon for the money, which brings me to my last disappointment. $4.89 for 8 crayons is a bit much, don[t you think? They did come with a thin plastic case, which broke easily, and doesnt justify the price. Overall, I wont buy again.

> 3 dayWish these were sturdier. They break in a second. I would blame my kid for being to rough, but I broke one too and I was just coloring in a tiny area. Now we have a ton of tiny pieces everywhere. Bummer

Greater than one weekI am a preschool teacher, but I bought these for my 4 year old son. Having worked with this age group for some time, I have to say these are the best crayons. They help teach proper grip early on without any fancy attachments because the shape is naturally comfortable to grasp. And of course Crayola brand crayons are more solid and easier to color with so they are worth the price. Added bonus: they dont roll off the table! If you are looking for a good first writing utensil- this is be best one I have found!

> 3 dayThis reinforces what kindergarten teachers have known for years. Triangular writing tools teach children how to properly hold a pencil or crayon. My son is one and holds a crayon the correct way because of my teaching AND these crayons. But theyre not magic. Do your part too parents.

> 3 dayTook these on vacation. They stayed on the seat tray just like we needed. No chasing dropped crayons for the little one!

11-06-2025I work in education and wanted some crayons that wouldnt roll on the table. Over $4 sounded expensive for just 8 Crayons, so I kept looking and found these online at Walmart for half the cost (in-store pick-up).

> 3 dayWhat can you say they are crayons and they have nice bold colors. I was hoping for a more sturdy crayon as my 4 yr old grandsons presses down quite hard and standard crayons snap like a tooth pick. These lasted for 3 coloring sessions before they started snapping.
