Creality Ender 3 V2 Full Hotend Kit 3D Printer Parts, 3D Printer Accessories Assembled Hotend Nozzle Kit with Dual Fans and ABS Shell for Ender-3 V2

I needed some plastic for the blower fan that isnt available. I couldnt print it because I didnt have a whole one to measure. It was busted from the factory. (Someone over tightened the screw.) I figured a spare hot end was a good thing to have.

Ordered an OEM replacement. Instead I received what was clearly a used hot end with burned PLA gunk all over it. To add insult to injury it was missing the nozzle completely! This is very poor QC.

This is a drop in replacement kit for an Ender 3 v2. I have it on backup because I know one day mine will fail or become a gooping mess with a nozzle failure (or failure of myself to tighten it enough). But its the same as stock, so I expect it to perform the same.

Stock Replacement - Stock Expectations

After swapping my old hot end for this new one I got a few decent prints. But after a week or so my printer began experiencing thermal runaway seemingly every print. After much diagnosing I realized the issue was a faulty thermistor. I had to buy a new one and after installing it, I havent had a thermal runaway issue. So buyer beware - the thermistor that comes in this is junk and you might as well replace it before you install the unit.

It was easy to install and its a perfect plug & play replacement.. I recommend.

I used it as parts and it was cheaper than buying parts individually.

Authentic Creality hotend assembly for the Ender 3v2, arrives completely assembled, along with 4 standard 0.4mm brass nozzles, and the wiring harness already connected and ready to go. All connections look good, with the hotend already screweed into the fan shroud, leaving you to connect the cables to the motherboard and attach the assembly to your x-axis gantry pom-wheels thing and shabam! Youre ready to print again. You can never have too many spare parts for your 3D printer, and having a fully assembled hotend assembly in your back pocket is never a bad idea.

I am using this on a non-Creality printer. The quality of this is typical of a Creality hot end. I especially like that the fan shroud is included and that it is made of ABS. I have melted a few fan shrouds that were printed in PLA. If you plan to print ABS, you do not want parts printed in PLA anywhere near the hot-end. I would like to see a bigger layer/cooling fan but it does the job. Overall, excellent option for a fully assembled hot end. I paired it up with the new BL Touch and a direct drive slide plate using a BMG Extruder.
