Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool Two 6in & 12in Blocks Quilt Ruler - CGRJAW2

This template is what my pattern required. I like that the markings are easy to see and line up.

For me the Creative Grids rulers are simply the very best. Just love how easy and simple they are to use and the fact that I dont have to fuss with having to add any sort of grips to hold them in place is fantastic.

This is a great little tool! Ive used smaller ones but have been wanting to quilt with the bigger blocks so this will be a fun project! Shipped fast and well packaged!

Great tool...have used it to make two log cabin quilts already.

Purchased this ruler for a gift for a friend. She says it is great for making big blocks for a large quilt.

Between the small sheet of instructions and a Youtube video, I made several perfect pineapple blocks. Took the hard right out of the old style way of piecing a block. Im sewing three this year for Christmas gifts...this ruler makes it that simple. I do suggest you make a sample block with old fabric first to get the feel of it...

Works great

I want to love this, however, no matter how hard I try, I absolutely cannot sew it perfectly to fit that first block. I double check that it is a perfect 3 1/2 square to start with then I mark the 1/4 seam all the way around. I even press and trim after sewing on each log. Ive made 5 attempts and now I have to take a break, any suggestions on how to achieve that perfect first block?
