I already had about 12 square rulers in my quilting arsenal, but this has been my go-to ruler since I started using it. The grids keep the ruler from sliding, and the 1/2 inch crosshairs in both directions ensure cutting accuracy. The 45 degree solid black line makes perfect half square triangles cuts. I would recommend this tool to anyone who quilts.

Plus, it still works for all kinds of angles you need to cut and to block all your squares as you are piecing. A super size to buy, especially if you are just starting out!! Enjoy!!
