For any quilter of any skill level, one of the most important tools is having the right ruler for the job. Your ruler inventory will not be complete until you have the full range of basic rulers. Why make square blocks that aren’t truly perfect when you can use Creative grid rulers for precision cuts. These are always easy to read and easy to use thanks to the non-slip surface.

I had an odd shaped quilt block that I needed cut just so and this one was perfect!

Met all my expectations.

Nice clear markings with the bonus of a strong diagonal marking. I am very poor at matching lines and corners and dreaded sewing my zig zag quilt blocks with my present ruler of 12 1/2. I had made a cardboard template of 12 with iffy results but this 11 1/2 allows me to ensure that my often uneven blocks are matched more effectively. I know most quilters talk about 1/4 inch seams but I need a wider seam that allows for uneven skill.
