I couldnt find this size in my quilt shops, works great for squaring up square blocks. It was slightly cracked.

I did not read that the back of this square had grips on it. That was a pleasant surprise! I loved this and will be looking for more of this brand to buy!! AND IT IS MADE IN THE USA!!!!!!!

Nice clear markings with the bonus of a strong diagonal marking. I am very poor at matching lines and corners and dreaded sewing my zig zag quilt blocks with my present ruler of 12 1/2. I had made a cardboard template of 12 with iffy results but this 11 1/2 allows me to ensure that my often uneven blocks are matched more effectively. I know most quilters talk about 1/4 inch seams but I need a wider seam that allows for uneven skill.

Bought as a gift for a quilter, easy squares that are repeatable.
