Even though I havent used it yest, I looks to be an accurate was to square up a quilt block.

I used to use the Omni rulers but found I couldnt see the lines because of the yellow markings on the lines. then I tried a Creative Grid ruler and at once felt in control of the cutting. Love these rulers. Ive replaced all my omni rulers with creative grid. Had an omnigrip 12.5 inch square and couldnt see a thing underneath it. I borrowed the Creative Grid 12.5 inch square ruler and was able to cut my blocks perfectly. I highly recommend all Creative Grid rulers.

Creative Grids is my ruler of choice. The textured spots on the bottom hold ruler securely on fabric, without slipping, while cutting. Im replacing another brand.

This is my absolute favorite brand of quilt templates for two reasons: 1) the fabric does not slide when you are cutting because of their special gripping pads (yet it still slides over the fabric when you are not pressing down), and 2) the lines are in both black and white so they show up very clearly on any color/pattern of fabric. The lines are also thinner than other brand templates, which makes me feel like I can be more accurate.

Creative Grid rulers are by far the best rulers for quilters in my book. I used omni rulers previously, but found the thick lines and yellow lines made it difficult to judge accuracy. Creative grid rulers have thinner liner cleaner lines that allow you to see perfectly, which creates accurate cuts every time! Plus the non slip feature is wonderful. Especially for me, since I have some arthritis but it would be invaluable to anyone really. Who doesnt want the security of your ruler staying in place on your expensive fabrics? The turn around feature on the CG Rulers are awesome. You can make so many cuts from one ruler that each ruler is worth every penny and then some. I have replaced my omni rulers with creative grids slowly but surely and I am so glad I did. They are durable, easy to use and each ruler has multiple uses and Creative grids has a huge selection. Love them!

Creative grids is my FAVORITE brand of measuring devices for cutting. The grips are perfect and better than the add-on version of grips. You will not be disappointed.

Creative Grids rulers are the best. This is a good size to have to square up 12 blocks that is a common size used in quilting. These rulers are safer to use because of the non-slip backing. Easier to make accurate cuts.
