Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 4-1/2in Square - CGR4

Ive been quilting for 4 years now so I would say that I am beginner/intermediate. That said, i started out using a brand of ruler thinking it would not be good as it was a quite popular brand. So I bought many of them in different sizes. For most users, it works ok. But for my smaller piecing needs, you ABSOLUTELY need this ruler. It does not slide. In some instances, i want the ruler to slide but not in others. I had NO idea how much extra work i was doing to prevent sliding until i got this ruler. You wont regret getting this smaller one. I promise.

I was having trouble getting my Tri Rec points to come out with enough fabric above them to allow for 1/4” seams, so I started cutting them 5”, and this works perfectly for cutting the squares down to 4-1/2” after they’re sewn. It works great for me.

Creative grids rulers are the best, in my opinion..so much easier to see, and measure, accurately...
