This is the perfect size template. Add a 6x24 and you can have all the bases covered! Love this template it is my favorite to cut pieces for my quilts!

I really like that is has the frosted 1/4 and 1/2 for adding sewing lines to Burda patterns. I craft, paper craft, sew clothes and just getting into quilts. I work close to my machine and my 12 kept hitting the machine. This is the perfect size for my needs. Exact measurements from one side to the other. Only minus is that there are no metric measurements.

This ruler is amazing. Im a quilting newbie so I dont know all the proper terms yet. The ruler has a way to line it up so you can make perfect diagonal cuts from 5 inch squares. It has some sort of coating on the bottom which keeps the fabric from moving when cutting, which is so helpful. There are markings so you can see them on both light and dark fabric. It really seems like the person who designed it was thinking carefully about the needs of quilters. I highly recommend this ruler
